Analyst, Business Intelligence, MLD, I

Carrington Holding Company, LLC is a company supporting mortgage lending and residential real estate operations. The Analyst will support the Mortgage Lending Division by producing accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and data extracts while learning internal systems, key performance metrics, and basic data analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to understand business metrics and reporting needs
• Maintain regularly scheduled reports and/or automate as appropriate
• Perform data validation and analysis of all report data to ensure accuracy
• Support operational and ad-hoc reports and data extracts
• Properly document the procedures and process of assigned reports
• Conduct manual data review to solve a business question, identify a trend, or respond to an audit issue
• Actively gain business knowledge to better understand and serve our business customers

Requirements:

• Basic proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS)
• Foundational knowledge of SQL or other query languages is a plus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools, systems, and business processes quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with basic statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent job experience in business intelligence, report development, data analysis, data integration or information management
• Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in a data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence role
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
• Business Analyst experience and/or Residential Mortgage Industry experience preferred
