ConsultNet is a national provider of technology talent and solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will support an enterprise data project in a banking environment by bridging business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements, and translating business objectives into functional and nonfunctional requirements. The role will lead discovery, document processes and data requirements, manage multiple enterprise workstreams, and standardize solutions across banking business units.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Business Analyst will support an enterprise data project within a banking environment
• This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams by gathering requirements, analyzing business objectives, and translating them into clear functional and nonfunctional requirements for development teams
• The analyst will work with business units across areas such as capital markets, foreign exchange, and retail banking
• Responsibilities will include leading discovery sessions, identifying business needs, documenting current and future-state processes, and breaking larger project goals into detailed requirements
• The role will also help define customer segmentation and data requirements, identify gaps in data collection, and reconcile differing business-unit perspectives into standardized enterprise solutions
• This individual should be comfortable collaborating with technical teams without needing to code, managing multiple workstreams, and working with stakeholders across different time zones
• The role is expected to support the requirements phase through the end of the project and may use Azure DevOps to track work and document requirements

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Significant experience eliciting requirements from multiple business units
• Experience developing business, functional, and nonfunctional requirements
• Ability to translate business objectives into detailed technical requirements
• Experience breaking enterprise-level goals into manageable workstreams and requirements
• Strong understanding of requirements documentation and approval processes
• Experience working with technical development teams throughout the requirements phase
• Experience managing multiple workstreams with varying levels of complexity
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teams across multiple time zones
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Experience documenting workflows, processes, data requirements, or system needs
• Ability to work independently without needing to write code
• Ability to work Mountain Time hours, generally between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM
• Banking or financial services experience
• Experience with customer segmentation or customer relationship data
• Experience supporting capital markets, foreign exchange, retail banking, or other banking lines of business
• Experience working with enterprise data requirements and solutions
• Experience identifying gaps in data collection or reconciling inconsistent business requirements
• Experience with data flows, data mapping, or downstream reporting
• Experience supporting CRM platforms such as Salesforce
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with Agile or Scrum environments
• Experience with in-house data tools or data science platforms
• Strong facilitation and consensus-building skills
• Ability to challenge assumptions and identify requirements gaps
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
