AI Security Engineer - Remote

YO AI Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on challenging coding and security tasks that help train next-generation AI systems. The role involves backend development, feature implementation, debugging, security task creation, deterministic verification systems, vulnerability identification, and software optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and debug complex software
• Implement new features and resolve software issues
• Refactor and optimize existing codebases
• Create realistic coding and security tasks
• Develop reliable deterministic verification systems
• Identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks
• Apply strong algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles

Requirements:

• Python 3, Java, Rust, TypeScript, C++
• Algorithms & Data Structures
• Bug Fixing & Feature Implementation
• Codebase Refactoring
• Performance Optimization
• Penetration Testing
• Security Auditing
• Strong backend development experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or similar
• Experience building scalable services and APIs
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing skills
• Solid code review and software engineering practices
• Experience with cybersecurity, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or security audits
• Familiarity with secure coding, AppSec, OWASP, and CWE is a plus
• Proven backend development experience
• Cybersecurity or security engineering background
• Experience with penetration testing or security audits
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
