Information Security Engineer

The Information Security Engineer will support cybersecurity initiatives across security operations, infrastructure, product security, and compliance, including incident response, vulnerability management, project coordination, and security governance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the triage, investigation, and coordination of security incidents
• Support incident response processes, documentation, evidence gathering, tracking, and post-incident reviews
• Monitor and triage escalated security alerts from security platforms
• Support development of operational dashboards and reporting automation
• Support the vulnerability management lifecycle from identification through remediation validation
• Review vulnerability scan results and work with infrastructure, application, product, and asset owners to drive remediation efforts
• Track remediation progress against established SLAs and risk priorities
• Assist in developing metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting on vulnerability posture
• Coordinate exception reviews and remediation follow-up activities
• Support execution of strategic cybersecurity initiatives and remediation programs
• Support & track action items, risks, milestones, dependencies, and project deliverables
• Assist with security tool implementations, process improvements, and operational maturity initiatives
• Help maintain program documentation, procedures, and reporting
• Support audit preparation, evidence collection, and control validation activities
• Assist with policy maintenance, risk assessments, and security review activities
• Help maintain security metrics, dashboards, and management reporting

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Infrastructure, Systems Administration, IT Operations, or a related technical field
• Strong understanding of: 
  • IT - Windows, Active Directory / Entra ID, Networking & Firewall Fundamentals
  • Security - Security monitoring, Incident response, Endpoint security tools, Patch management processes
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with: 
  • CrowdStrike
  • Zscaler
  • Microsoft O365
  • SIEM platforms
• Exposure to GRC and compliance programs
• Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, or similar certifications
• Experience supporting security projects and remediation programs
