Position OverviewThe Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is responsible for defining and delivering the strategy, architecture, and transformation of the enterprise end-user computing environment. This role centers on modern workplace technologies, endpoint management, digital experience, virtualization, mobility, identity integration, and automation-ensuring a secure, scalable, and high-performing user environment across a global enterprise.
Key ResponsibilitiesEUC Strategy & Architecture: Define and own the enterprise EUC architecture roadmap spanning endpoint management, virtual desktops, mobility, collaboration, and digital experience. Establish architectural principles aligned with enterprise IT strategy and cross-functional teams (Identity, Security, Network, Cloud).
Modern Workplace Transformation: Lead modernization programs including device lifecycle transformation (Autopilot / zero-touch provisioning), UEM migration (SCCM to Intune / modern management), and VDI/DaaS optimization (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, VMware Horizon).
Platform Engineering & Endpoint Management: Architect and govern endpoint platforms (Microsoft Intune, SCCM/Configuration Manager, Jamf). Define standards for OS builds, patch management, application packaging/deployment, compliance baselines, and orchestration via PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
Identity, Security & Compliance: Embed Zero Trust principles, Conditional Access, and device posture enforcement. Integrate endpoint security tools (Microsoft Defender, EDR/XDR) and IAM platforms (Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, SSO).
Application Delivery & DEX: Architect application delivery models (native install, virtualized apps, SaaS) and optimize digital employee experience (DEX) using telemetry, analytics, and automation.
Operational Excellence & Governance: Establish EUC operating models, service standards, and key performance indicators (device health, patch compliance, DEX scores).
Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional IT groups and business units, mentor engineers, lead technical design reviews, and translate architectural decisions into business value.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of dedicated experience in End User Computing, Workplace Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.
Endpoint Management: Deep expertise in Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, SCCM (co-management scenarios), and Jamf / macOS management.
Virtualization (VDI/DaaS): Strong hands-on architectural experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or VMware Horizon.
Identity & Security: Proven knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID integration, Conditional Access, and modern device security baselines.
Transformation Leadership: Demonstrated track record leading enterprise-scale EUC modernization and OS lifecycle management programs.
Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to leadership.
Industry Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified (Endpoint Administrator / Intune), Azure Solutions Architect, Citrix CCP-V/CCE-V, or VMware VCP-DTM.
Experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms (e.g., Nexthink, Lakeside Systrack, Aternity).
Strong automation capabilities utilizing PowerShell and Python.
Experience operating within global, regulated enterprise environments and integrating EUC workflows with ServiceNow (ITSM).
