Traveling Project Manager

Quantum Industrial Services is a mechanical and plumbing contractor specializing in large-scale commercial and industrial projects across multiple states. The Traveling Project Manager leads industrial mechanical construction projects from planning and preconstruction through completion, managing scope, budgets, schedules, quality, safety, stakeholders, and client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead industrial mechanical projects from planning through completion
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, manpower, and resources
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field leadership
• Monitor project progress, costs, productivity, quality, and schedule
• Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions
• Ensure projects meet company, client, safety, and quality expectations
• Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders and executive leadership
• Conduct project closeout and lessons-learned reviews

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in industrial mechanical construction
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong understanding of project budgets, cost control, scheduling, and financial reporting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, specifications, and technical drawings
• Experience with Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and ability to travel and work on projects across multiple states
• Experience managing large-scale or complex mechanical projects preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• PMP certification is a plus
