Technical Customer Solutions Manager, Government

GridMatrix provides a computer-vision platform that turns existing transportation-hub cameras into real-time operational and safety intelligence. The Technical Customer Solutions Manager will manage government customer relationships end to end, supporting technical pre-sales, deployments, implementation, adoption, troubleshooting, and long-term customer success.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with sales on technical discovery calls, demos, and proof-of-concepts for prospective government customers
• Translate agency requirements — technical, security, and procurement — into a credible deployment plan and scope
• Help shape proposals and RFP responses, drawing on real deployment experience to keep commitments realistic
• Lead deployments of our product across government agencies, managing timelines, scope, and stakeholders end to end
• Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers during implementation, building trust and keeping them informed
• Coordinate across internal teams (engineering, product, sales) and external partners to remove blockers and hit milestones
• Navigate government processes — procurement, security reviews, compliance requirements, and internal approvals
• Act as the ongoing technical account manager post-deployment — the customer's go-to for configuration questions, troubleshooting, and best practices
• Own customer success post-deployment: drive adoption, monitor account health, and run regular check-ins
• Identify and surface expansion or renewal opportunities, and loop in sales at the right moment
• Triage and help resolve support issues, escalating and tracking anything that needs engineering attention
• Feed learnings from the field back into product and process so each sales cycle and deployment gets smoother
• Pitch in wherever the company needs you as we grow

Requirements:

• Experience across project management, implementation/deployment, technical account management, customer success, or sales engineering
• Comfortable in front of customers in a technical, pre-sales capacity — not just after the contract is signed
• Comfort operating in an early-stage or high-growth environment where priorities shift and structure is still being built
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• A self-starter with a strong ownership mentality
• You see what needs doing, whether that's a demo, a deployment plan, or a renewal conversation, and you do it without waiting to be asked
• Willingness to flex across pre-sales, delivery, support, and customer success as needed
• Open to travel when appropriate — occasional on-site visits with government customers for kickoffs, key milestones, or escalations
• Experience working with or selling to government / public-sector organizations (strongly preferred)
