Architectural Project Manager - Retail

Globeateliê is a global design and architecture studio serving clients across North America and worldwide. The Architectural Project Manager will support the ideation and management of brand environments for national and global retail brands, lead project teams through all project phases, manage client accounts, and support business development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead programs with select retail clients, serving as the key point of client contact while supporting business development and fostering client relations
• Perform thorough quality checks to ensure code compliance and adherence to brand standards
• Lead individual projects through all phases, from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Contract Administration
• Manage internal project teams and schedules on individual projects and/or larger programs and initiatives
• Mentor and support junior team members, sharing technical and industry knowledge to support the greater growth of the company
• Support business development through the growth of existing client accounts and the onboarding of new contacts
• Develop designs to scale through various software applications, hand sketching, and materials research
• Coordinate with internal and external consultants and production team members

Requirements:

• Candidate must have at least ten years experience (fifteen+ preferred) in an architectural firm, interior design firm, or similar setting
• Broad understanding of construction and architectural detailing, and MEP coordination
• Experience in project and/or program management
• Architectural license, or progress in pursuing architectural license through NCARB
• Code research and permitting due diligence experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and Bluebeam
• Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Projects, Smartsheet, Excel, Monday.com, or other project management/production software
