Sr. Devops Engineer (Salesforce & Flosum)

Akrostech Consulting is seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Salesforce and Flosum. The role supports Salesforce CI/CD, deployment automation, release management, environment management, metadata administration, troubleshooting, and collaboration across development, QA, architecture, and business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Flosum
• Manage Salesforce deployments across Development, QA, UAT, Staging, and Production environments
• Configure and administer Flosum for version control, branching, release management, and deployment automation
• Manage Salesforce metadata including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Profiles, Permission Sets, Custom Objects, and Custom Metadata
• Develop and maintain automated build, validation, testing, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, merge conflicts, validation errors, and environment-related issues
• Work closely with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, QA teams, Architects, and business stakeholders
• Establish and maintain branching, merging, and release strategies
• Support Salesforce release planning, versioning, rollback strategies, and change management
• Integrate Salesforce/Flosum with source-control and other DevOps tools
• Improve automation, deployment efficiency, release quality, and overall DevOps processes
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures
• Provide production-release and post-deployment support as needed

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Salesforce DevOps, Salesforce development, or related engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment and development processes
• Hands-on experience with Flosum
• Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata and deployment dependencies
• Experience with Salesforce DX and Salesforce CLI
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Git and source-control concepts
• Experience with automated Salesforce deployments across multiple environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer
• Experience with Flosum Enterprise / Flosum DevOps
• Experience integrating Flosum with Git, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise tools
• Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms
• Knowledge of Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Salesforce Flow, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and Salesforce Metadata API
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations
