Cloud Infrastructure Network Engineer

Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States. The company is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud networking infrastructure, including hybrid connectivity, edge networking, DNS, and security controls. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration, automation, design and code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and operate cloud networking infrastructure across one or more major cloud providers
• Work closely with cross-functional partners product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in networking, with significant time on cloud networking
• Deep hands-on experience with networking on at least one major cloud provider
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, BGP, and modern networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or equivalents)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code for cloud networking, especially Terraform
• Strong understanding of cloud security and network controls
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and service mesh fundamentals
• Strong troubleshooting and packet-level analysis skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Cloud networking specialty certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer)
• Experience with multi-cloud networking and cloud-to-cloud connectivity
• Familiarity with SD-WAN platforms and SASE architectures
• Experience with eBPF-based networking tools
• Exposure to regulated industries with strict network segmentation requirements
