Agile Program Manager

We are seeking a highly independent and experienced Project Manager 3 to lead agile release management, design work intake processes, and establish project governance structures from the ground up.

• Location: Lansing, MI (425 W. Ottawa St.)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday)
• Interview Process: In-person interviews at the Lansing, MI office

The Role at A Glance

In this position, you will operate as a self-directed leader defining work intake models, running monthly sponsor briefings, and managing end-to-end execution across cross-functional development teams.

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Agile Governance & Release Management: 5+ years building and operating agile governance structures.
• Work Intake & Process Design: Proven track record of independently setting up governance models and intake workflows.
• System Development Life Cycle: 5+ years managing application builds, enhancements, and SDLC methodologies.
• Matrix Leadership & Negotiation: 5+ years resolving complex requirements, leading working sessions, and driving stakeholder consensus.
• Executive Communication: Experience holding 15–20% direct executive interactions and sponsor updates.

Bonus Skills

• Public Sector/Government Experience
• Project Management Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or PfMP
• Versatile Leadership Roles: Background across Project Manager, Program Manager, or Lead roles
