Business Data Analyst

RedSail Technologies is seeking a Business Data Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. The role collects, processes, and analyzes pharmacy and healthcare data, develops dashboards and KPIs, maintains data quality, collaborates on data pipelines, and delivers stakeholder-focused analytical recommendations and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze pharmacy-related datasets — including pharmacy claims, MediSpan, clinical program data, and healthcare metrics — to uncover trends, opportunities, and program outcomes
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources, including Snowflake, databases, APIs, and spreadsheets
• Ensure data quality and consistency across platforms by identifying, investigating, and correcting discrepancies
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain reliable data pipelines that support repeatable, scalable reporting
• Design and develop operational-grade dashboards, visual reports, and KPIs using Power BI, Sigma, and other visualization tools
• Lead assigned projects end-to-end, including scoping, stakeholder communication, and timely delivery of complex analytical work
• Harness the power of AI to achieve efficiency and highest-quality outputs
• Uses independent judgment and discretion based upon the employee’s experience and knowledge of pharmacy data, analytical methods, and stakeholder needs
• Exercises sound judgment in determining how to frame, present, and communicate findings to diverse audiences, including external partners
• Possesses ethical work values and handles sensitive business and patient data with appropriate discretion
• Moderate levels of stress may be experienced in the performance of the job
• Position is performed in a general office environment, home office, or approved remote workspace where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs
• Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, partner engagements, customer site visits, conferences, or strategic sessions
• Daily use of Microsoft Teams (messaging, calling, video), computer, and other routine office equipment
• Must have internet access
• Little responsibility for the safety of others. Job is performed in an office setting where there are no hazardous materials or equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent education plus technical experience (3-5 years)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL: query optimization, joins, CTEs, window functions, and working with complex, large-scale data structures in Snowflake or equivalent cloud data platforms
• Demonstrated ability to build operational-grade reports and dashboards using Power BI and Sigma
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills — able to synthesize data into clear, concise narratives for senior leadership, partners, and customers
• Experience presenting analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders, including in external partner or customer-facing settings
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of quality, especially in outputs intended for executive or external audiences
• Effective professional communication — written, verbal, and visual — across technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to self-manage, prioritize competing assignments, and work collaboratively
• Skilled at gathering business requirements, conducting process analysis, and framing problem resolution in business terms
• Ability to lead projects independently and manage stakeholder expectations throughout
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI
• Ability to learn, adopt, and contribute to new technologies and analytical frameworks related to RedSail's AI infrastructure
• Experience with pharmacy and/or healthcare data, including claims, clinical programs, reimbursement metrics, or PBM dynamics
• Prior experience in a customer-facing, partner-facing, or consulting analytics role
• Proficiency with modern analytics stack tooling
• Proficiency with AI tools used in analytics settings (Snowflake Cortex, Claude)
