Senior Product Designer

TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. The Senior Product Designer will design complex, data-heavy product workflows for investigators and compliance analysts, including agentic AI experiences, reusable design-system patterns, and high-quality shipped experiences in collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end design for core workflows across our public and private sector products, from first sketch to what ships
• The agentic experience in your areas: how users hand work to AI, check what it did, and decide whether to trust it
• Reusable patterns you contribute back to the design system, built so both designers and AI tools can use them
• The quality bar on what ships, through tight build reviews with engineering

Requirements:

• Your portfolio shows data-heavy B2B product work done well: sharp information architecture and interactions that hold up under real use
• You drive design forward without waiting to be told, and you pull PMs, engineers, and other designers in early. You own the outcome without working alone
• You've designed product surfaces where AI or automation does real work for the user, or you have a clear point of view on how that design problem differs from traditional UI
• You treat each solution as a pattern the rest of the product can reuse. You've contributed to or scaled a design system and know what makes one get used
• You move fast and know when polish matters and when it doesn't. You'd rather put a rough version in front of the team today than a perfect one next week
• AI fluency is a baseline expectation at TRM
• We expect every team member to use AI to accelerate and reimagine their craft, not just automate surface tasks
