Senior Technical Project Manager I

CDW is a technology solutions provider that helps organizations achieve more through technology. The Senior Technical Project Manager I role supports Technology Financial Operations by analyzing, planning, and presenting financial information, developing forecasts and cost models, and providing recommendations to Technology and Finance leadership. The role also supports resource planning, reporting improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to technology leaders
• Assist in developing the financial plan for technology, including forecasting
• Create operational financial reports for TE&S to optimize resource allocation and utilization
• Build strong partnerships with internal customers and cross-functional teams
• Prepare analysis to support technology projects and organizational growth
• Recommend improvements for reporting and analysis processes
• Support system capacity and resource planning, as well as cost modeling

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years previous finance experience. Or 9 Years of previous finance experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of finance concepts, principles and practices, and the ability to apply them to a portfolio of work and resources
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated organization and planning skills with critical attention to detail
• Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office applications with solid experience in Excel and PowerBi
• Demonstrated ability to effectively present data to stakeholders for full scenario understanding
• Track record of identifying process improvements and making appropriate recommendations
• Strong consensus building abilities with stakeholders
• Understanding of GAAP and Non-GAAP accounting concepts (e.g., NGOI, CAPEX and OPEX planning)
• Working knowledge of financial software tools such as PeopleSoft, Essbase, and Hyperion
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow (SAFe, Intake and PM modules beneficial), is a plus
• MBA, a plus
• CPA, a plus
• Lean Six Sigma Certification, a plus
• Lean Portfolio Management, a plus
• SAFe Agile practices, a plus
• Preferred experience within a Technology Company, a plus
