Product Analyst / Business Analyst (Home Care Domain Expert)

Elite Home Healthcare is seeking a home care industry veteran to serve as a Product Owner and Business Analyst for software supporting home-based care agencies. The role translates agency workflows into software features and requirements, manages the product backlog, supports sales, creates user materials, and coordinates development through rollout.

Responsibilities:

• Translate Field Experience into Features: Use your knowledge of home care operations to define, document, and prioritize user-friendly software features and requirements for our engineering team
• Manage the Product Backlog: Maintain and organize the list of software enhancements, updates, and defect fixes for the development team
• Bridge Communication: Work closely with software developers to ensure they understand the daily realities of home health workers, resulting in practical, efficient applications
• Create Support Materials: Write clear, accessible User Guides and Implementation Guides to help agencies adopt our software
• Support the Sales Team: Act as the product Subject Matter Expert (SME) during pre- and post-sales activities to help potential clients understand the value of our solution
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with active business users to understand their current workflows, suggest improvements, and design new software features that solve their pain points
• Project Coordination: Oversee the development lifecycle and provide basic project coordination from initial feature design through post-production rollout

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience within a Home Health, Personal Care, or Home-Based Care Agency
• First-hand experience in roles such as Home Health Aide (HHA), Care Coordinator, Scheduler, Billing Specialist, or multi-department agency operations
• Deep, practical understanding of home health business processes, caregiver workflows, and industry challenges
• Prior experience using Home Health Software/EMR platforms (e.g., AlayaCare, HHAeXchange, Homecare Homebase, KanTime)
• Previous exposure to software development environments, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Business Analysis, or Project Management
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, business, or related field is preferred
