Position: Snowflake Developer
Location: New York, NY [Onsite/Hybrid]

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data warehousing solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and highperformance analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions
Build and optimize data models, schemas, and tables for analytics and reporting
Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake SQL and cloud-native tools
Optimize query performance, cost, and resource utilization
Implement data security, access controls, masking, and governance policies
Integrate Snowflake with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting
Support deployments, monitoring, and production issues
Document architecture, processes, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in data warehousing or data engineering
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (SQL, virtual warehouses, stages, streams, tasks)
Strong SQL skills (advanced queries, performance tuning)
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Informatica, Talend, Matillion, Airflow, etc.)
Understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
SnowPro Certification (Core or Advanced)
Experience with dbt and modern analytics engineering practices
Knowledge of Python or Java for data processing
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data platforms
Experience in data governance, data quality, and metadata management
Education
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Adaptability in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment
