Geothermal Project Manager

RESPEC is an employee-owned company that addresses challenges in energy transition, infrastructure resilience, digital transformation, and sustainability. The Geothermal Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary projects from planning through closeout, managing scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, teams, clients, and project quality. The role also supports business development, team mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from project kickoff through closeout
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders across multiple offices and locations
• Monitor project performance and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and clear communication
• Lead client meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, schedules, budgets, and next steps
• Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, billing, and profitability
• Identify and manage project risks, change orders, and contract modifications
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, contract requirements, and regulatory obligations
• Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client presentations, and project pursuits
• Mentor and support team members while promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned across teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, science, construction management, environmental science, business, or a related field from an accredited university
• 5+ years of progressively responsible consulting, engineering, technical, operational, or project management experience
• Demonstrated experience managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, client communications, and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience serving as a client interface and successfully delivering projects from initiation through closeout
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record where business travel is required
• Project Management Professional (PMP), professional registration, or applicable technical certification
• Experience with P6 scheduling software
