POLICY, PROJECT DEVELOPMENT, FINANCE, ENGINEERING, HR & LEGAL — ANTORA ENERGY (CA, PA & REMOTE, USA)

Antora Energy develops thermal energy storage systems and long-duration energy storage projects. The listed roles span state policy, project development and delivery, contracts, finance, engineering, recruiting operations, human resources, and materials R&D, supporting the company’s project portfolio, manufacturing scale-up, business operations, and product development.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll work on two fronts. First, the policies that create demand for clean industrial heat and power: long duration storage procurement, energy policy, large load additions, industrial decarbonization programs, clean fuel standards, and related state initiatives
• Second, the policy environment in the states where we develop projects, where siting, permitting, interconnection, incentives, and tax treatment shape whether a project can move forward
• You’ll represent Antora with state policymakers, regulators, and partners, and you’ll work across several states at once
• The person in this seat will write/validate the statements of work, hold the budget, set the schedule, and hold consultants, Owner’s Engineers and EPC firms to deliverables that are technically defensible
• The Manager, Energy Project Development will support Antora’s efforts to evaluate, track, and advance energy projects for long duration energy storage (LDES) deployment
• This role focuses on project development execution, supporting greenfield projects, co-location and due diligence on acquisition opportunities
• They will track development milestones, and coordinate with consultants, developers and internal teams
• The Manager will maintain relationships with consultants, renewable developers, and assist in moving new and acquired projects toward deployment readiness under the direction of senior leadership
• They will organize a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to advance Antora’s energy storage projects and power generation projects from ideation to the execution of commercial contracts
• This requires establishing project plans and coordinating efforts across engineering, business development, power supply and project finance teams as well as driving community engagement efforts by representing Antora to landowners and local leaders
• You’ll manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and supply-chain contracts, while helping implement and administer the Company’s CLM platform and clearing an existing contract backlog
• This role will own and operate the company’s core financial model, deliver mission-critical insights that guide strategic decisions, and support capital markets engagement
• This role sits at the center of Antora’s commercial, operational, and product teams—translating fast-moving inputs into clear, data-driven outputs for executives, investors, and partners
• Define the build sequence, design the process, stations, and custom tooling that enable it, develop the work instructions, and integrate it all on the floor, working closely with design engineering, production, and the technicians who build with what they create
• You will personally design, analyze, and release the fixtures, workcells, and safety-critical lifting and handling equipment that production runs on: working from first principles, with hand calculations and FEA carrying designs from load path through proof load
• The tooling and processes you design will set production rates, enable new product launches, and shape the next-generation build process before the factory around it is committed
• Coordinating complex onsite and virtual interviews, configuring and evolving our Greenhouse ATS (including new AI and MCP integrations), and partnering with People Operations to deliver seamless onboarding and offboarding
• This person will help modernize how recruiting runs at Antora — consolidating our recruitment documentation into an indexed, easy-to-navigate library, keeping interview training compliance on track, and identifying and implementing process improvements across recruiting coordination
• This role is the primary point of contact for a defined group of employees and managers, running the operational engine of payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, immigration, and leave administration, while also partnering with leaders on team effectiveness, organizational change, and moderately complex employee relations matters
• You will partner directly with engineers to execute high-temperature experiments using production scale furnaces and supporting experimental equipment — work that is central to developing the novel materials inside Antora’s thermal energy storage systems
• You will be responsible for setting up and running tests, operating instrumentation and data acquisition systems, and producing clear, thorough documentation of every experiment
