Position: Vision ETL Lead (Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery)

Job Description: We are seeking a senior Vision ETL Lead to oversee the design, development, and deployment of ETL pipelines that extract data from Google Cloud Platform BigQuery and migrate it into enterprise SQL data warehouses. You will lead a small team, set best practices, ensure data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to align data models with reporting needs. The role combines architecture guidance, hands-on development, and mentoring to deliver scalable, reliable data ingestion and migration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ETL development for migration from Google Cloud Platform BigQuery to SQL-based data warehouses and data lakes
• Architect, implement, and optimize modern ETL pipelines and cloud-native data processing frameworks
• Mentor and guide a team of 4+ ETL developers on standards, data modeling, and delivery practices
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate data requirements and ensure alignment with BI/reporting
• Develop robust testing and validation strategies to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance

Technical Skills (Top Requirements):

• 7+ years hands-on ETL development experience
• Expertise with modern ETL/BI tools and reporting platforms
• Strong understanding of enterprise data models and ETL best practices
• Proven Technical Lead experience overseeing teams of 4+ developers
• Demonstrated experience with Google Cloud Dataform
• Demonstrated experience with Google BigQuery
• Demonstrated experience with Medallion Architecture
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences
