Software Development Test Engineer (SDET), IOS

Keeper Security is a cybersecurity software company protecting organizations and individuals globally. The company is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to build and maintain mobile automation frameworks for native iOS and Android applications, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and improve test coverage, reliability, and release readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for native iOS and Android applications
• Build and extend automated test suites for functional, regression and integration coverage
• Integrate mobile test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitrise, GitHub Actions or similar platforms
• Execute automated tests across simulators, emulators and physical devices
• Partner with mobile engineers to improve application testability and automation coverage
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes and improve automation stability and reliability
• Contribute to mobile automation architecture, tooling standards and testing best practices
• Identify gaps in automated coverage and prioritize high-value test scenarios
• Evaluate and adopt new mobile automation tools and technologies where appropriate
• Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms to improve test development, debugging, root-cause analysis, documentation and workflow efficiency

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, SDET or test automation roles, including significant mobile automation experience
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso or similar tools
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing native applications across simulators, emulators and physical devices
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working closely with software engineers to improve testability and resolve complex defects
• Strong understanding of mobile application lifecycles, release processes and platform-specific behavior
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across Engineering, Product and QA teams
• Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools effectively to improve automation development, debugging, analysis and documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Due to this role's involvement in FedRAMP environments, qualified candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
• Experience with cloud-based mobile device testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs or Firebase Test Lab
• Experience with mobile performance, reliability or network-condition testing
• Familiarity with mobile accessibility and UX testing best practices
• Experience testing security-sensitive, identity or cybersecurity applications
• Familiarity with App Store and Google Play release workflows
