Principal Customer Solutions Manager

VX Fiber is a software vendor and services partner focused on fiber network operations, providing OSS and BSS SaaS solutions and related services. The Principal Customer Solutions Manager will engage broadband and fiber operators, lead technical and operational discussions, support solution evaluations and procurement processes, build industry relationships, and provide market insights to product and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery sessions, solution workshops, and operational discussions with broadband and fiber operators
• Help customers evaluate how VX Fiber's solutions can support their operational and business objectives
• Translate customer challenges into use cases, requirements, and actionable feedback for product and engineering teams
• Support demonstrations, technical evaluations, and responses to procurement processes such as RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
• Build trusted relationships with operational, technical, and business stakeholders across customer organizations
• Represent VX Fiber in organizations such as ATIS, the Fiber Broadband Association, and other relevant industry forums
• Participate in conferences, panels, webinars, and working groups that help strengthen VX Fiber's presence in the North American market
• Monitor industry trends, operator priorities, and competitive developments, and share insights with leadership and product teams
• Help identify where VX Fiber is uniquely positioned to solve customer challenges and where partnerships or product enhancements may be needed

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in broadband, fiber networks, OSS/BSS, network operations, or related areas
• At least 5 years in a customer-facing role such as solutions consulting, architecture, operations, product management, technical sales, or advisory services
• Strong understanding of service activation, assurance, inventory, customer lifecycle management, and wholesale or retail fiber operating models
• Experience leading technical and operational conversations with customers and guiding complex technology evaluations
• An established network within the North American fiber industry, or a demonstrated ability to build trusted industry relationships quickly
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across executive, commercial, technical, and operational audiences
• Experience participating in industry associations, standards organizations, or working groups is a plus
• Experience supporting a growth-stage or international technology company is a plus
