Senior Software Engineer, .Net

NeuroFlow develops behavioral health technology that helps healthcare organizations identify behavioral health risks, engage individuals with appropriate resources, and support care teams in making informed decisions. The Senior Software Engineer builds and maintains full-stack features and services, owns work within the team’s domain, contributes to architecture and engineering practices, and mentors newer engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Turn team goals into technical plans, then design and build full-stack features and services within your team's domain
• Choose the methods, tools, and evaluation criteria for your own work, and walk your team through the tradeoffs
• Spot technical risks and blockers early and propose fixes before they slow down delivery
• Own the prioritization of your assigned work and bring it to your manager for approval
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions for your team's services
• Work with product, QA, and adjacent engineering teams to ship features in your team's domain
• Mentor junior engineers through code review, pairing, and hands-on technical guidance
• Improve testing, tooling, and engineering practices on the services you own
• Act in accordance with NeuroFlow’s Information Security Policies
• Protect organizational assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
• Report security events or other risks to the organization
• Execute organizational security processes or activities
• Perform security responsibilities that defined and communicated for your role
• Be responsible for your actions regarding the security of organization

Requirements:

• Typically 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in C#, solid TypeScript, and hands-on experience with .NET Framework or .NET 5+
• Proficiency with a modern front-end framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
• Experience building backend APIs and services with .NET Framework or .NET 5+
• Working experience with ORMs and relational databases (for example, nHibernate, Entity Framework, SQL Server)
• Experience writing unit, integration, and UI automation tests
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, whether running them in production or helping a team migrate to them
• An engineer who owns your work from design through production and enjoys helping newer engineers level up
• A clear communicator who can explain a technical decision to your team and stay open to other approaches
• Someone who gets satisfaction from taking a tangled piece of code and making it simpler to maintain
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance
• Obtaining clearance is required to remain in this position
• Experience with cloud architectures on AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR
• Experience building integrations with EHRs
