Project Manager

Leidos is an industry and technology company serving government and commercial customers with digital and mission innovations. The Project Manager will support the Federal Aviation Administration’s surveillance and radar modernization effort by planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve program goals, while coordinating schedules, budgets, equipment deployment, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all projects schedules are met and within budget constraints
• Provide timely/accurate responses to all technical and program inquiries received
• As required, assist in budget formulation activities utilizing FAA government databases
• As applicable, author required documents in support of program schedules
• Work independently to achieve day-to-day Program objectives which may significantly impact operational results or program objectives
• Update project schedules as required and provide input to FAA construction managers
• Organize impromptu telecons/meetings to ensure all project maintain schedule and cost
• Utilizing special client databases, provide programmatic input to other team members
• Perform investigations and root cause analysis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Requires a BA or BS degree and 8 to 12 okyears of prior relevant experience
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to present ideas to diverse audiences
• Proficient with MS Project and Excel (Macros)
• Prior experience supporting the FAA
• Knowledge of FAA radar technology
• Technical background (Highly preferred)
• Lean/Six Sigma Analysis skills
• Data Analytics
• Data architecture
