Senior Staff Business Analyst

Danaher is a science and technology company operating across life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology. The Senior Staff Business Analyst bridges business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications for analytic, data science, and business intelligence initiatives. The role engages stakeholders, prioritizes user stories, and collaborates with technical teams to deliver effective data and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Engage continuously with stakeholders to understand their business goals and collect requirements
• Translate these business requirements into user stories and comprehensive functional specifications for data integrations, data modeling, dashboards, reports for development team
• Prioritize these user stories into the right sequence of projects and releases for the team to implement
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver efficient and effective solutions
• Engage with Data and Analytics user community to support solution adoption>
• Ability to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites, up to 10%

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL, with hands-on experience leveraging Snowflake and Power BI to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives
• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation
• 3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints
• preferably within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering environments
• Data Governance
