Senior Data Analyst

Ascensus, through its American Trust & Custody brand, provides trading and custodial reporting solutions for a range of investment products and accounts. The company is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support its data strategy by monitoring data quality, building reportable metrics and dashboards, and providing insights to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and Define Data Governance
• Build Dashboards demonstrating overall Data Health
• Create Roadmap Features to clean and integrate Data
• Identify and Share Data Trends that inform new Features and Initiatives
• Regularly share Insights from the Data to both Technical and Business Stakeholders
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients

Requirements:

• strong analytic skills
• good written, visual, and oral communication skills
• 5+ years of experience working with large data sets
• 3+ years of experience working with ETL processes
• 4+ years of experience working with mainstream Database platforms
• 3+ years working with a scripting language (ex Python)
• Data Analytics - able to look past the raw data and understand trends and outliers
• Build Presentations that persuade and inform
• Build relationships across all levels of the Organization
• Think in terms of Processes and Data Flows
• Oracle Preferred
