AI and Technology Associate

Anagram Capital is a private equity firm focused on backing executives who acquire and scale lower-middle-market companies. The AI and Technology Associate will lead technology development across the firm and its portfolio companies, applying LLMs and AI tools to investment research, diligence, operations, and automation. The role also manages technology vendors, supports security and systems integration, and drives team adoption of new tools.

Responsibilities:

• Build AI-enabled workflows for sourcing, sector screening, and target research
• Develop tools that speed up diligence and deal execution, including data-room review, financial data extraction, benchmarking, and memo drafting
• Own our AI and technology stack: evaluate, select, and deploy LLMs and AI tools, and set standards for usage, data handling, and security
• Automate workflows across CRM, fundraising and investor relations, reporting, and finance
• Partner with platform management teams on technology and AI initiatives that improve margins and scalability, such as scheduling, quoting, and back-office automation
• Support technology diligence and systems integration for add-on acquisitions
• Manage software vendors and outsourced IT, including evaluation, implementation, contracts, and spend
• Oversee data security and access controls
• Train the team on new tools and drive adoption
• Track the fast-moving AI landscape and bring recommendations to the team
