Senior Program Manager, Educational Partnerships

Dallas College is a community college system focused on placing students at the center of its work. The Senior Program Manager will lead educational partnerships with high schools and other stakeholders, overseeing dual credit, Early College High School, P-TECH, Collegiate Academy, student pathways, enrollment, engagement, and career readiness initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the organization of high school and Dallas College personnel in the planning for student cohort information, orientation, application, enrollment, transition and graduation sessions, summer bridge programs, and campus student engagement activities
• Coordinate cohort progress and pathway monitoring with high school counselors and administrators and Educational Partnership Managers, communicating needs for changes or problem resolution to appropriate Academic Success Deans and department chairs from Dallas College Schools
• Design and implement enrichment programming to enhance student, partner, and parent experiences in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This includes but is not limited to new student engagement activities, credentialed instructor recruitment and engagement activities, student and parent workshops, and partnership appreciation events
• Manage processes for monitoring cohorts’ academic status and communication with high school administrators, students, and parents, planning for cohort transition from high school to college campuses
• Manage course requests and rosters received from ISD partners to ensure student pathway completion as well as site adherence to SACSCOC guidelines and hand-offs to appropriate Educational Partnership personnel, Dallas College Academic Schedule Team, and Deans and Department Chairs of all Schools within Academic Success
• Responsible for coordinating and improving dual credit enrollment management processes with the Academic Schedule Team (AST), Student Success and Information Technology areas
• Responsible for managing and compiling student dual credit enrollment workflows and coordinating communication to school districts, charter, private and home school students’ procedures for ordering and receiving learning materials
• Collaborate with AST and Information Technology on the development of workflows and technology applications for more efficient processes
• Collaborate with Student Success Coaches and faculty on support strategies with dual credit courses
• Identify methods to enhance engagement and support for external partners around enrollment processes
• Serve as liaisons for new initiatives associated with stakeholders, engagement activities, technologies, and any other initiative which requires sponsorship by Educational Partnerships
• Collaborates with school district partners and Student Success areas to provide college and career readiness preparation solutions, including planning for academic preparedness through orientation, bridge programming, workforce internships and career readiness resources and experiences developed by Dallas College, state, or national institutions
• Develop and distribute communication and materials from welcome to graduation specifically for dual credit students
• Collaborate with Strategic Analytics on producing graduate reports for partners and internal reporting to administrators
• Coordinate planning for involvement of dual credit students in workshops and events
• Responsible for coordinating the initial development and annual updating of ECHS, P-TECH and Collegiate Academy pathways with school districts and Dallas College Schools
• Develop systems for monitoring cohort progress with pathways
• Recommend adjustments/improvements to ensure successful completion, and coordinates degree audits and graduation applications with Student Success areas
• Collaborate with Academic Chairs and Deans in the development and maintenance of pathways to ensure program fidelity
• Responsible for supporting all new Educational Partnerships employee training efforts
• Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to provide leadership, oversight and accountability for the operational effectiveness and efficiency of dual credit, Early College High School, and P-TECH partnership agreements, enrollment and learning materials management, pathways development, dual credit student and faculty support, data reporting and continuous improvement.to achieve goals
• Ability to manage complex projects; plan and evaluate processes or programs; examine and re-engineer operations; recommend policy, develop, and implement new strategies and procedures
• Ability to effectively train and support colleagues and partners in the implementation of re-engineered processes
• Ability to support strategic direction by identifying actions necessary to achieve task(s) completion and obtain results meeting timelines, budget, performance goals, etc
• Able to collaborate with Dallas College and school district partner leadership and/or stakeholders regarding ways to improve the functionality of the organization in the best interest of the students
• Ability to exercise effective and efficient program management to advance departmental initiatives
• Able to create, establish, and implement programs with little oversight in alignment with departmental goals and expectations
• Must possess knowledge and experience with dual credit administrative programming to execute decision making related to program management and processes which advance support of dual credit stakeholders
• Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and constituents within the Dallas College community
• Able to manage internal and external relationships in ways that promote the best interest of all stakeholders
• Ability to sustain and improve the work environment in the face of change and environmental challenges
• Understands and effectively manages group dynamics and ambiguity; maintains confidentiality; acts ethically and with integrity
• Ability to seek ways to proactively improve organizational processes and outcomes by being objective, fairly evaluating different components and aspects of a situation, maintaining a balance between the goals of the organization and those of Dallas College
• Ability to design, create, and plan orientation, skill development, and enrichment programs to enhance the overall experience of students, partners, and parents
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects
• Strong computer skills
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience higher education and/or in dual credit administration
• A current and valid Texas driver's license is required due to travel throughout the Dallas College area locations
• Bilingual preferred
