Full Stack Software Engineer

North Capital is a financial technology company building technology for private capital markets, including APIs, trading systems, and investor platforms. The Full Stack Software Engineer will own features across the stack from design through production, modernize the platform, write thoroughly tested and auditable code, review code, and collaborate with stakeholders and engineers on technical designs.

Responsibilities:

• Own features end to end across the stack, from scoping and design through testing, deployment, and production support
• Continue to modernize a mature platform by improving code quality, test coverage, infrastructure, and security
• Write clean, well-tested code where correctness and auditability matter, including money movement and compliance workflows
• Review code and uphold high engineering standards across the team
• Work closely with stakeholders and other engineers to turn business needs into effective technical designs

Requirements:

• Integrity; a strong, collaborative work ethic; a deep desire to succeed while learning and expanding your domain knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least three years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and the versatility to work in others
• A commitment to delivering the highest-priority work, validated by thorough testing
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
• Fluency with Git, including branching, rebasing, and merging
• A strong affinity for the Unix shell and command-line tools
• Experience working effectively with AI coding harnesses
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
