Multi-Cloud Senior Engineer, Cloud Managed Services

Presidio is a technology services company providing cloud solutions, managed services, cybersecurity, automation, and digital transformation capabilities. The Multi-Cloud Senior Engineer will support customer environments across AWS and GCP by troubleshooting issues, managing and optimizing infrastructure, developing automation and AI-enabled workflows, and providing technical leadership for managed services operations.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose complex operational issues quickly
• Understand cloud architecture well enough to identify root causes
• Use AI effectively to accelerate investigation and resolution
• Build automation and AI-driven workflows to eliminate repetitive work
• Learn new cloud services rapidly as AWS and GCP continue to evolve
• Manage and support cloud-native services including compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and security services
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Google Deployment Manager) to support consistent, repeatable infrastructure deployments
• Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation to support consistent service delivery and knowledge transfer
• Measure and report on automation and AI initiatives, demonstrating improvements in operational efficiency, service delivery, customer experience, and platform reliability
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence through the adoption of automation and AI-first operational practices
• Serve as the primary technical resource for managed services customers, driving technical conversations with both the customer and internal account teams
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding incidents, service requests, maintenance activities, and change implementations
• Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining SLA commitments
• Mentor team members and lead technical initiatives that raise the bar on service delivery, operational efficiency, and engineering best practices
• Provide technical leadership during complex incidents, guiding engineers through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience troubleshooting and managing core services in both AWS and GCP, including compute, networking, identity, storage, monitoring/observability (e.g., CloudWatch, Cloud Monitoring), and security (e.g., IAM, KMS/Cloud KMS, network security controls)
• 3+ years developing automation solutions using Python, Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Google Deployment Manager), APIs, workflows, or orchestration tools
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, managed services, or platform engineering environments
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools, assistants, and automation platforms to improve operational efficiency and accelerate problem resolution
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and cloud-native services
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills with a proven ability to diagnose complex technical issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting containerized workloads
• At least one current AWS or GCP certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect), or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire
• Must be a US Citizen
• Experience working in various roles at an AWS/GCP MSP
• Hands-on production experience across all three major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, and GCP), including core compute, networking, identity, and security services
• Experience building AI-powered operational workflows and intelligent automation solutions
• Experience leveraging LLMs, generative AI platforms, and AI assistants within engineering or operations environments
• Experience integrating AI services such as Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI APIs, or similar platforms
• Experience developing agentic workflows, AI orchestration frameworks, or autonomous operational processes
• Experience with AIOps platforms, observability tools, and intelligent event correlation systems
• Experience building knowledge retrieval, RAG, or AI-assisted support solutions
• Experience with cost optimization and rightsizing practices across AWS and GCP (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer/Trusted Advisor, GCP Cost Management/Recommender)
• Experience with observability and troubleshooting of complex  EKS/AKS/GKE implementations
