Senior Creative Project Manager

Amsive is a performance marketing agency focused on collaboration, innovation, and integrated solutions. The Senior Creative Project Manager leads complex, multi-channel creative campaigns and smaller creative initiatives from scoping through delivery, managing timelines, budgets, resources, quality, and stakeholder alignment. The role also mentors junior project managers and drives process improvements across the creative department.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and own all phases of creative projects from scoping through delivery, across multiple accounts and project types (direct mail, digital, and multi-channel campaigns)
• Anticipate risks, proactively surface solutions, and guide stakeholders toward alignment
• Act as the primary liaison between creative, CX, and clients—presenting work, facilitating feedback, and translating complex information into clear direction
• Build complex timelines in Smartsheet that account for constraints, dependencies, resources, and deadlines. Maintain updates throughout the project
• Develop both client-facing and internal project schedules that balance transparency with realistic execution
• Manage multiple high-volume projects simultaneously, ensuring the team can prioritize effectively
• Independently review project briefs and define scope, deliverables, assumptions, and internal/external resource needs. Develop Scope of Work and Proposals for new project requests
• Provide accurate estimates of internal hours and vendor costs; track budgets and burn rates proactively
• Partner with CX to address scope changes, ensuring impacts on timing, budget, and resources are clearly communicated throughout project execution
• Work with a team to ensure all deliverables undergo proper QC before client review
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Ziflow, SharePoint, Email)
• Proactively identify process gaps and propose improvements to Director
• Collaborate closely with account, strategy, media, and production partners to ensure alignment on deliverables and project requirements
• Coach and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance on timelines, scope, and client communication
• Supervise and mentor junior Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of client work
• Delegate tasks effectively, balancing workloads across the team while maintaining accountability
• Provide training on project management processes, tools, and systems (e.g., Asana, ZiFlow, resource planning tools)
• Foster professional growth by identifying development opportunities, offering feedback, and coaching team members on best practices
• Support knowledge-sharing and consistency across the PM discipline to ensure high standards of communication, organization, and delivery

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of project management experience in a creative or marketing agency environment
• Proven success leading complex, multi-channel campaigns with budgets ranging from $5,000 to $200,000+
• Direct mail experience required
• Proficiency in Asana and Smartsheet (required)
• Strong understanding of creative production workflows (print, digital, and integrated)
• Highly detail-oriented and consistent across all project management tools. Maintains a high level of accuracy while managing multiple moving parts
• Exceptional ability to multi-task and seamlessly manage competing priorities across accounts
• Ability to adapt – thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Strong communicator—confident in communicating with clients, facilitating meetings, and representing the creative department
• Skilled in anticipating risks and maintaining composure under pressure
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage scope, budgets, and resource planning independently
• Strategic Problem-Solving Skills - Anticipates challenges, think critically and proposes actionable solutions
• Collaborator and influencer – Build strong relationships and facilitate alignment across diverse teams
• candidates will be required to live in the United States
• Account management experience, particularly in a role combining client relationship management and project delivery, is a plus
• strong digital campaign experience preferred
• Ziflow and SharePoint (preferred)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
