Project Manager – GHG Emission Calculation (Fuel Supply Chains)

Meo Carbon Solutions is an independent consulting company focused on advancing sustainability and helping clients achieve carbon neutrality and net zero. The Project Manager will lead consulting projects involving greenhouse gas calculations, sustainability reporting, fuel supply chains, and regulatory compliance, while managing project lifecycles, client engagements, proposals, and presentations.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for consulting projects with a focus on renewable fuels and energy carriers, circular economy, bioeconomy, chemical products and many more
• You will develop/review GHG calculators for various fuel supply chains, and support clients in optimising the CI score or in performing hotspot analysis
• You will conduct feasibility studies, market research, analysis and evaluations for specific customer requests and the preparation of reports and market studies
• You will support the further development of our service portfolio and manage proposals and tenders
• You will be responsible for the whole project lifecycle including scheduling, stakeholder management, documentation, controlling, participation in client meetings and project workshops
• You will perform company presentations at public national and international events

Requirements:

• University degree in environmental engineering, chemistry, energy management, natural sciences, life sciences, agriculture, forestry, land management or other related fields
• At least three years of relevant professional experience in e.g. greenhouse gas calculations, sustainability certification and compliance, auditing for international supply chains
• Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and to prepare professional presentations according to target group
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (both at least C1)
• High degree of initiative and commitment combined with an independent working style and pragmatic, hands-on attitude
• Very good computer and MS Office skills as well as high general IT proficiency
• Proven hands-on experience in applying e.g. EU RED GHG methodology (biofuels, RFNBO, RCF), ICAO CORSIA GHG methodology, GHG Protocol, Product Carbon Footprints, and similar standards
