AI Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

DV Trading is a proprietary financial trading firm that provides liquidity and risk management services across global financial markets. The company is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to develop internal, production-adjacent AI tooling on the DevOps team, including generative alert-response assistants, retrieval-augmented generation systems, and governed agentic remediation workflows. The intern will also document experiments, collaborate with platform teams, and ensure permissioning, auditing, logging, and cost controls.

Responsibilities:

• Design and prototype agent workflows with tool use, policy boundaries, and human-in-the-loop where appropriate
• Collaborate with platform and service teams to make more observability and operational context available in a safe, governed way for agents
• Document experiments, limitations, evaluation approach, and safety assumptions; ship changes via Git (branches, merge requests, meaningful commits)
