Senior Director Project Management

Seeking Alpha Mu Investment Fund is a non-profit organization that provides college students with practical experience managing real capital and making investment decisions. The Senior Director Project Management oversees strategic initiatives and operational projects, leading planning, execution, budgeting, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and continuous improvement while mentoring student leaders and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing strategic initiatives and operational projects across the investment fund
• Leading project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and educational objectives
• Defining project scopes and timelines, managing budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and monitoring progress against key milestones
• Implementing and refining processes, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement in how projects are prioritized and executed
• Mentoring student leaders, providing guidance on project management best practices, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to support the fund’s long-term growth and impact

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in Project Management and Program Management, with the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives
• Strong Budgeting skills, including planning, tracking, and optimizing resource allocation across projects
• Proven Team Leadership experience, with the ability to guide and motivate diverse, student-focused teams in a remote environment
• Experience in Process Improvement, optimizing workflows and implementing best practices in project delivery
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with a focus on clarity and accountability
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, or a related field
• Comfort with digital collaboration tools and remote work practices, with the ability to operate independently and proactively
• Relevant experience in financial services, investment management, consulting, or non-profit management is highly beneficial
• advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus
