Job Description:
These positions will have the primary responsibility of ensuring that incident reports are filled out with all corresponding documentation obtained. The PM and NOC shifts are the times when we have the least amount of additional support on campus, and while there are supervisors present, they are in ratio providing direct care. The incident reporting process can be involved and puts additional strain on the direct care staff. We have seen compliance issues with ensuring that the incident reports are submitted and reviewed on time, along with having all supporting documentation provided. These positions will work weekends and holidays, with two weekdays off. The primary responsibilities for these contractors will be:
1. Gather the incident report details, including all notifications, and complete the Google form (or paper form for DDD Only).
2. Go to the ICF and gather all supporting documentation, ensuring that the appropriate notes are entered in the Progress Notes.
3. Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy.
4. Walking and lifting is a requirement
5. Walking to other homes on the site to collect data
When there is not an IR:
1.Audit resident charts,
2. File completed documentation in the electronic resident record
3. File completed documentation in the home electronic resident record
