Senior Associate, Provider Business Development Analytics

Carrum Health is a healthcare technology company that connects employers and patients with a vetted network of specialty care providers through a value-based care marketplace. The Senior Associate will support provider business development analytics by developing bundled-payment pricing models, preparing analytics for new products, supporting negotiations, and collaborating with data science and engineering teams to optimize tools and data processes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize, build, and refine our industry-leading tools and datasets to further bundled-payment pricing development
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and key owners across the company in developing the groundwork analytics for prospective new bundles or products
• Directly support teams across the company in bundled-payment negotiations
• Regularly collaborate with our data science & engineering teams to further optimize our tools and analytic approaches, including model optimization and helping build the data plumbing required to ensure consistency in usage
• Perform other tasks and analytics as needed to support the Provider BD team

Requirements:

• You bring experience in healthcare provider negotiations, financial modeling, and strategic planning analytics
• BS or BA degree required
• Demonstrated proficiency with quantitative analysis and modeling (Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent) in addition to a background using programming languages or statistical software to produce actionable insights (SQL, Python, R, MATLAB, etc.)
• At least 2 years of experience working in a data analytics role, ideally in the digital health or similarly appropriate space
• Entrepreneurial and resourceful disposition – as a quickly growing startup, we value people who can find creative ways to make a big impact both efficiently and without requiring constant direction
• Experience handling multiple concurrent projects and deadlines, including the ability to reprioritize work as necessary in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passion for collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, client success, data, and product teams to ideate, complete projects, and drive impactful results
• Masters of Science or MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Robust understanding of the US healthcare system, including knowledge of bundled payment models, is a strong plus
