Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Security

Rocket Money is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer focused on cloud security across a large AWS production environment. The role involves evolving cloud infrastructure and network security, strengthening infrastructure-as-code and deployment-pipeline security, managing vulnerabilities and SIEM strategy, and supporting security practices for AI products and developer tooling.

Responsibilities:

• Evolve AWS account strategy, VPC design, workload segmentation, firewalls, and edge security
• Improve infrastructure-as-code scanning, Terraform module governance, and deployment-pipeline security
• Own vulnerability management, misconfiguration detection, and SIEM strategy
• Establish security practices for AI products and developer tooling with Product, InfoSec, and IT
• Contribute to Terraform reviews, the platform backlog, and the Cloud Infrastructure on-call rotation

Requirements:

• You have 6+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with substantial production cloud-security work
• You are fluent in Terraform and experienced with IAM, network architecture, vulnerability management, and CI/CD hardening
• You can evaluate detection and SIEM approaches and favor secure defaults over high-friction gates
• Experience translating SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or GLBA requirements into engineering controls is useful
