Midwestern IT Inc. is looking for motivated candidates interested in building a career as a System Business Analyst. Candidates should have an interest in business processes, system analysis, requirement gathering, and communication between business and technical teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze business and technical requirements.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.
Analyze existing systems and recommend process improvements.
Create process flow diagrams and system workflows.
Work with development and QA teams to clarify requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document test scenarios.
Track requirements, tasks, and defects using JIRA and Confluence.
Prepare reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements gathering and documentation.
Business process modeling and workflow analysis.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is an advantage.
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Visio, or similar tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in Business Analysis, System Analysis, QA, or a related role is beneficial.
Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and data mapping is a plus.
