Data Privacy Analyst

micro1 is engaging Data Privacy Analysts for a customer's data privacy initiative. The role reviews transformed datasets, validates redaction or anonymization of personally identifiable information, and reports discrepancies to help protect sensitive information and train AI systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct spot-checks of transformed datasets to identify and validate proper redaction or anonymization of PII
• Perform detailed document reviews to verify data privacy standards are consistently upheld
• Assess data sets for any missed or improperly handled sensitive information, providing clear and actionable feedback
• Document and report any discrepancies or observations using provided tools and templates

• In-depth understanding of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and data privacy regulations
• Background as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead
• Experience in legal document review, litigation support, or managed legal services
• Proven track record of working with sensitive data in high-stakes environments
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to maintain accuracy under pressure
