Planning, executing & communicating in handling incidents and solving problems. Creating reports for c level executives. Some experience with SQL query. 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Incident Manager with a strong background in banking and financial services to manage IT incidents, coordinate problem resolution, and communicate effectively with technical teams and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience handling critical incidents, preparing executive-level reports, and using SQL queries for basic data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute IT incident management activities from identification through resolution.
• Manage incident response, track progress, and coordinate with technical and business teams to minimize service disruptions.
• Lead problem-solving efforts, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Communicate incident status, business impact, risks, and resolution updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and incident summaries for C-level executives.
• Analyze incident trends, recurring issues, and service performance to support continuous improvement.
• Use SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data for reporting and investigation purposes.
• Maintain incident documentation, timelines, root-cause findings, and post-incident reports.
• Ensure incident management processes align with banking operational requirements and business continuity expectations.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with relevant experience in IT incident management.
• Mandatory experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong experience planning, managing, and resolving IT incidents and problems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including communication with C-level executives.
• Experience creating executive-level reports, dashboards, and incident summaries.
• Basic to intermediate SQL query experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing major incidents in a complex enterprise IT environment.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident and problem management processes.
• Experience with incident tracking tools, reporting platforms, and service management systems.
