Marketing Manager (HubSpot)

StoryTeller Media + Communications is an inbound marketing and communications agency serving private clubs, golf associations, and membership organizations. The Marketing Manager runs the company’s marketing engine, managing content, campaigns, workflow, and HubSpot lead nurturing while guiding the Marketing Coordinator and reporting on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Run the marketing workflow: Turn ideas from our leadership team into Jira cards, groom the backlog, and lead our two-week sprint planning so the work gets done
• Own the content calendar: Build and maintain our editorial calendar across blogs, podcast episodes, and monthly webinars, and help develop topics that resonate with our audience
• Build the assets: Create the landing pages, CTAs, promotional emails, and nurture sequences behind every piece of content
• Segment and nurture: Organize our HubSpot contacts by persona and segment, and run targeted nurture campaigns for club General Managers, Membership Directors, and association leaders
• Guide our Marketing Coordinator: Organize assignments, give clear direction, and review work for quality
• Tell us what’s working: Read campaign performance, explain what the numbers mean, and recommend what to keep, change, or try next
• Make ideas better: Take an idea, sharpen it, and ship it

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of professional marketing experience, with work you built yourself and can walk us through
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation, including building emails, landing pages, forms, and automated workflows
• You create structure

• Remote work habits that keep your team informed without being asked
• HubSpot experience (strongly preferred)
• Marketing experience in private clubs, golf, resorts, hospitality, or membership-based organizations (strongly preferred)
• Jira and Agile experience is a plus
