Junior Software Development Engineer

Mitchell International, part of Enlyte, is hiring a Junior Software Development Engineer to build and maintain software products, including full-stack applications and cloud integrations. The role collaborates across Scrum teams and contributes to cloud migration, CI/CD-driven development, and developer services.

Responsibilities:

• Development: Design, analysis, development, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation of programming to satisfy business requirements for large, complex projects
• Agile Methodology: Work as part of a Scrum team to deliver technology solutions in an Agile fashion including but not limited to sprint planning, standup calls, and sprint retrospectives
• Adherence to standards: Follow architecture standards, risk management, and security policies
• Testing: Conduct unit, component, load, performance, and integration testing

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 0-2 years of working within a .NET environment, new graduates welcome
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Working knowledge of ReactJS
• Strong desire to learn SOA principles and practices
• Fundamental knowledge of coding principles and experience with one or more of the following: Web Services, xML/JSON, OOP, DI, Automated Testing, Design Patterns, Value Objects, RDMS, Java, or C#
• Excellent analysis, design, writing, and communication skills
• Experience creating .NET web applications
• Experience creating SQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational database schemas
• Working knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud skills a plus
