Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Humana is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to produce scalable software solutions across front-end, back-end, and database components. The role spans the software development lifecycle, including application design, development, testing, maintenance, technical leadership, and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications based on our requirements
• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to create scalable, user-focused solutions
• Build and support front-end, back-end, American Petroleum Institute, and database components, ensuring performance, security, and reliability
• Develop responsive web and mobile-friendly applications with modern user experiences
• Troubleshoot, debug, improve, and enhance existing applications
• Create technical documentation, development best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and provide high-quality solutions within project timelines
• Provide technical leadership and influence solution design throughout project planning, and support phases
• Support production deployments and ongoing application maintenance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience developing and testing software applications
• Experience with front-end and back-end development technologies
• Experience with APIs, databases, and application integrations
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience delivering solutions that enhance customer experience
• Master's degree in a related field
• Experience cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and enterprise-scale applications
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub / GitLab and developing Git branching approaches
