Senior Software Engineer - Customer Vendor Management

Snapsheet develops claims technology for insurance and related industries. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the evolution of its claims engine by building customer self-service experiences, vendor integrations, and workflows across the claim lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the evolution of our industry-leading claims engine
• CVM owns how claims connect with customers, vendors, and external partners across the full claim lifecycle
• In this role, you will build the customer self-service experiences that start a claim, such as online claim reporting and photo capture
• You’ll also build the vendor integrations and workflows that connect carriers with repair shops, appraisers, salvage partners, and other third parties
• You’ll help shape estimating, appraisal, and total loss functionality and make sure our partner ecosystem runs reliably at scale

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience, with particular strength in back-end development
• Designing and building APIs
• Designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases
• Understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code
• Eagerness to learn from and work with a collaborative team
• Commitment to quality and passion for technology and creating cutting-edge solutions
• Ability to manage tasks and to contribute towards multiple initiatives during a sprint
