Petroleum Engineer

Enerpact LLC develops upstream oil and gas software and is hiring a Petroleum Engineer to support upstream customers. The role uses practical petroleum engineering experience to understand customer requirements and help apply Enerpact’s software solutions, while translating customer workflows and needs for product, technical, and business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers and partners to understand upstream workflows, business objectives, operating practices, and requirements, and translate them into clear business and technical needs
• Provide guidance on development planning and execution, including scheduling, well readiness, resource allocation, operational constraints, forecasting, and economics
• Provide input on analytics, KPIs, reporting, and decision-support capabilities that are valuable to upstream operators
• Support customer evaluations and help customers understand how Enerpact solutions can be applied within their operating environment
• Communicate customer requirements and industry practices to Enerpact’s product, technical, and business teams and support related partner and integration activities

Requirements:

• 10+ years of petroleum engineering experience in the upstream oil and gas industry
• 5+ years of experience working for or directly supporting exploration and production operators
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing multi-well field development activities, including well sequencing, development scheduling, well readiness, resource constraints, and changes to development plans
• Strong understanding of the relationship between development activity, production timing, capital requirements, and asset economics
• Experience using engineering data, forecasts, analytics, KPIs, and reporting to support planning and operational decisions
• Demonstrated experience working with upstream software or digital technology solutions in a petroleum engineering environment
• Experience working directly with upstream customers in a technical, solution, or advisory capacity
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
