Growth & Performance Marketing Manager

Get Pierced Co. is seeking a hands-on Growth & Performance Marketing Manager to drive profitable customer acquisition and lead marketing initiatives. The role owns paid media strategy and execution, advertising budgets, creative testing, promotional planning, partner coordination, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead paid advertising strategy, execution, and optimization across Meta, Google, Pinterest, and emerging channels
• Independently manage campaigns, targeting, bidding, budgets, testing, and scaling
• Oversee Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and Demand Gen
• Manage Meta campaign structure, creative testing, audience strategies, and budget optimization
• Monitor ROAS, MER, CAC, conversion rates, and overall acquisition efficiency
• Identify underperforming campaigns, reduce wasted spend, and reallocate budgets
• Develop structured testing strategies across creative, audiences, offers, and landing pages
• Stay informed on platform updates, algorithm changes, and advertising best practices
• Take ownership of paid media results, whether managed internally or with external partners
• Own daily, weekly, and monthly advertising budgets, including planning, allocation, pacing, and forecasting
• Make informed decisions about increasing, decreasing, or shifting spend based on performance
• Evaluate advertising investments against revenue, acquisition costs, contribution margin, and profitability
• Develop spending strategies for product launches, promotions, evergreen campaigns, and seasonal events
• Establish performance targets and spending thresholds with leadership
• Analyze blended marketing efficiency alongside platform-reported results
• Identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns while maintaining profitability
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and internal teams to develop high-performing advertising assets
• Establish a consistent creative testing process across paid channels
• Analyze performance across static images, video, UGC, catalog ads, and other formats
• Identify winning messaging, hooks, concepts, and offers
• Translate advertising insights into actionable creative briefs
• Maintain a pipeline of fresh creative assets to prevent fatigue and support continued testing
• Build and maintain the annual marketing calendar for launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
• Coordinate timelines, creative assets, promotional offers, landing pages, and inventory readiness
• Align paid advertising strategies with product launches and major promotional events
• Lead weekly marketing meetings and communicate priorities
• Ensure campaigns launch accurately, on schedule, and with appropriate advertising support
• Manage relationships with agencies, contractors, platform representatives, and marketing partners
• Identify opportunities to transition marketing responsibilities in-house
• Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for external partners
• Coordinate with email, SMS, creative, influencer, and affiliate teams
• Collaborate internally on merchandising, inventory, promotions, and launches
• Develop efficient workflows, reporting processes, and documentation
• Identify ways to reduce unnecessary expenses and improve marketing efficiency
• Collaborate with retention marketing partners to align email and SMS with acquisition strategies
• Coordinate promotional campaigns and messaging across channels
• Own weekly and monthly reporting across advertising spend, revenue, ROAS, MER, CAC, and conversion rates
• Analyze marketing performance alongside broader business results
• Monitor new customer acquisition, lifetime value, and marketing efficiency
• Use Shopify, GA4, advertising dashboards, and attribution platforms to evaluate results
• Understand differences between platform-reported conversions and blended performance
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
• Translate complex performance data into actionable recommendations for leadership
• Establish measurable KPIs and track progress against business objectives
• Research emerging advertising channels, including TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, AppLovin, and CTV/OTT
• Develop testing plans and benchmarks for new opportunities
• Prioritize profitable growth within established channels before expanding
• Explore influencer, affiliate, creator, and partnership opportunities
• Identify opportunities to leverage UGC and influencer content within paid advertising
• Evaluate affiliate and cashback programs such as Impact, Rakuten, and similar platforms
• Measure the performance and incremental value of growth initiatives

Requirements:

• 4+ years of growth marketing, performance marketing, or paid media experience
• At least 2 years of direct, hands-on paid advertising management
• Experience managing significant monthly advertising budgets
• Advanced knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including campaign creation, optimization, budgeting, and scaling
• Experience with Google Shopping, Performance Max, Search, and YouTube advertising
• Proven ability to independently evaluate campaigns and improve advertising performance
• Strong understanding of ROAS, MER, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and contribution margin
• Experience developing and executing creative testing strategies
• Familiarity with Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, and attribution platforms such as Northbeam or Triple Whale
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to balance marketing strategy with hands-on execution and independent decision-making
• preferably within DTC or ecommerce
• preferably $200,000+ across multiple platforms
• Experience scaling paid media for a Shopify Plus brand
• Hands-on experience with Pinterest Ads and TikTok Ads
• Experience transitioning advertising responsibilities from an agency to an internal team
• Knowledge of Meta catalog advertising, product feeds, Conversion API, and tracking integrations
• Experience with influencer partnerships, UGC, and creator-led advertising
• Experience managing major ecommerce promotions, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday
• Understanding of ecommerce merchandising, inventory, customer retention, and loyalty programs
• Experience building or leading an internal performance marketing function
• Familiarity with affiliate platforms, cashback programs, and card-linked offers
• Experience launching and scaling additional acquisition channels
• Background as an early marketing hire at a founder-led DTC brand
• Demonstrated success scaling advertising budgets while maintaining profitable acquisition
