Senior Sales Engineer - Majors, New England

Zscaler is a cybersecurity company providing a cloud-based Zero Trust Exchange platform that protects customers from cyberattacks and data loss. The Senior Sales Engineer will architect technical solutions for major accounts, oversee the technical sales process, run Proof of Value engagements, and collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the technical sales process
• Running Proof of Value from start to finish, as the technical and industry expert
• Collaborating and supporting internal Zscaler teams

Requirements:

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
• Demonstrated ability to act as a Consultative AI Advisor, guiding customers through AI change management, including mapping manual business workflows to agentic AI systems and managing expectations around non-deterministic outputs
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5 to 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems integrator
• Knowledge of network security technologies
• Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving, while applying sound technical judgment to validate outputs
• Industry certifications including CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA , CISSP, or CCSP
• Experience working with large enterprise and major accounts
