About this role

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Innovation, to shape its approach to emerging technology and guide its digital build, buy, and partner strategy. The role leads innovation initiatives from discovery through pilots, validates solutions and ROI, and collaborates across teams to determine whether initiatives should be scaled, changed, or stopped.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Prioritize High-Impact Use Cases: Using market insights and data, identify and prioritize external technology opportunities that align with our strategic objectives
  • Drive Testing, Validation, and Pilots: Champion an agile "test and learn" methodology. Manage the proof-of-concept process, running quick-to-market experiments and pilots to validate technical feasibility, user adoption, and financial ROI before scaling
  • Translate Business Needs and Opportunities into Solutions: Translate customer needs and technical insights into clear and concise product specifications and requirements that articulate user stories, functionality, and constraints for new technology capabilities
  • Manage Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, compliance, regulatory, operations, and external vendors as needed to build, test, and deploy solutions. Ensure solutions are compliant, safe, reliable, and integrate seamlessly into our platforms
  • Monitor and Measure Success (ROI): Define and analyze Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to measure the impact, performance, and financial value of innovation pilots, using data to inform decisions on whether to pivot, kill, or scale initiatives

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a product manager, with a strong track record of launching successful software products
  • Strong understanding of technology trends in the market (e.g., advanced AI/ML, automation, digital health tools) and how they can be applied to solve complex business problems
  • The ability to think big picture, navigate high degree of ambiguity, and translate complex concepts into actionable pilots with measurable outcomes
  • Track record of building and advocating for new business cases
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executives, inspire teams, and defend strategic ideas
  • Experience with the healthcare industry and the technology used within
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Preferred experience working within an innovation lab, incubator, technology consulting, or managing emerging technology products
