Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst Advanced with expertise in Salesforce CRM, TargetX, and TargetX Communication Planner to support the transition and implementation of a new customer relationship management (CRM) system.

The primary focus of this role will be providing TargetX Communication Planner support and assisting with the transition to Salesforce-based CRM solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing automated email communications, maintaining campaign workflows, troubleshooting CRM-related issues, and supporting data integrity throughout the transition process.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, TargetX, automated communication campaigns, and CRM data management. Experience supporting higher education operations, including admissions, recruitment, and enrollment management, is highly desirable.

This is a part-time, fully onsite contract position requiring approximately 28 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce CRM and TargetX Transition Support

• Support the transition, implementation, and configuration of CRM solutions involving Salesforce and TargetX.
• Assist with the migration and maintenance of CRM data, configurations, communication workflows, and related functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and ensure CRM capabilities align with operational needs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting CRM functionality, campaign execution, and data integrity.
• Support system testing, validation, and transition activities to ensure continuity of business operations.

2. TargetX Communication Planner and Campaign Management

• Create, configure, manage, and maintain automated email campaigns and communication workflows using TargetX Communication Planner.
• Develop and manage drip campaigns and scheduled communications to support stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor campaign execution and troubleshoot issues involving audience selection, data, configuration, scheduling, and email delivery.
• Review and maintain communication plans to ensure accurate targeting and timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, workflow efficiency, and communication processes.

3. Salesforce Administration and Reporting

• Work with Salesforce objects, fields, reports, dashboards, and CRM data.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot reports and dashboards to support business and operational requirements.
• Assist with data validation, data cleanup, imports, and exports to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Support Salesforce automation tools and workflows as required.
• Investigate data-related issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

4. Troubleshooting and Technical Support

• Diagnose and resolve Salesforce CRM, TargetX, and communication campaign issues.
• Investigate problems involving CRM data, audience segmentation, configuration settings, campaign scheduling, and delivery.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve system issues efficiently.
• Support CRM integrations and troubleshoot issues involving connected applications where applicable.
• Document recurring issues, resolutions, and recommended improvements.

5. Documentation, Training, and Change Management

• Develop and maintain documentation covering CRM configurations, communication workflows, campaign procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
• Assist with end-user training and provide guidance on Salesforce and TargetX functionality.
• Support change-management activities associated with CRM transition and implementation.
• Communicate system changes, issues, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance system usability, data quality, and campaign performance.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve operational challenges.
• Provide timely updates on assigned tasks, campaign issues, and transition activities.
• Support business functions such as admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, and student services, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of system changes, reported issues, and completed work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following experience:

1. 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce CRM.
2. 3+ years of experience working with TargetX.
3. 3+ years of experience working with TargetX Communication Planner.
4. 3+ years of experience creating, managing, renewing, and troubleshooting automated email campaigns or drip campaigns.
5. 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce reports, dashboards, objects, fields, and data.
6. 3+ years of experience troubleshooting CRM- and campaign-related issues, including data, audience, configuration, scheduling, and email delivery problems.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience supporting Salesforce and TargetX within a higher education environment.
• Experience supporting admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, student services, advancement, or similar business operations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Flow and other Salesforce automation tools.
• Experience working with TargetX forms, events, portals, and related functionality.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email communications.
• Experience with Salesforce data imports, exports, Data Loader, or similar data management tools.
• Experience supporting CRM integrations and third-party applications.
• Experience developing technical documentation, providing end-user training, and supporting CRM migration or change-management initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
