Manufacturing Sales Engineer-Round Tools- North LA

KYOCERA SGS Precision Tools (KSPT-G) is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to grow sales throughout the North Los Angeles territory. The role develops customer and distributor relationships, recommends cutting tools and technical solutions, provides product training, and shares market insights to support territory growth.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Growth & Business Development: Grow territory revenue by developing new customer opportunities, strengthening distributor and customer relationships, and contributing to sales planning and forecasting
• Customer & Technical Solutions: Understand customer needs, recommend cutting tools for specific applications, and provide technical support to solve machining challenges and improve performance
• Product Training & Industry Knowledge: Stay current on manufacturing technologies, machining practices, tooling applications, and industry trends while providing product and technical training to distributors and customers
• Business Collaboration & Representation: Represent KSPT-G professionally and share customer and market insights with internal teams to support marketing, product development, customer satisfaction, and business growth

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet KSPT-G's insurance eligibility requirements
• Technical knowledge of tooling applications and manufacturing processes
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
• 2+ years of experience in technical sales or technical support within the cutting tool or machining industry, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience, preferred
