Acumatica ERP Project Manager

AIM Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Acumatica ERP Project Manager to lead ERP implementation engagements from kickoff through go-live and hypercare. The role owns project delivery, client relationships, schedules and budgets, and applies the company’s PMO methodology while coordinating delivery teams and supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Own the schedule, budget, and delivery plan for each engagement, from kickoff through go-live and into hypercare support
• Serve as the client's main point of contact throughout the project
• Run the kickoff call, weekly status meetings, and monthly steering committee updates
• Maintain the project plan and RAID log, with risks and issues tracked and visible in real time
• Coordinate the Business Analyst, Technical Consultant, Customization Specialist, and Integration Specialist assigned to your engagement so their work lines up
• Watch scope, budget, and timeline closely, and flag variances early
• Plan and coordinate configurations, UAT, training, and the go-live cutover
• Report to the Director of PMO and apply AIM's PMO methodology on every engagement, while helping and promoting it to the rest of the project team
• Contribute to AIM's internal continuous-improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Real experience leading projects or teams, in any industry
• A willingness to take on a responsibility you have not done before and learn it quickly
• Composure under pressure: the discipline to keep working a hard problem while keeping the client's confidence intact
• Judgment to protect AIM's reputation and the client's interests at the same time
• Working knowledge of the full ERP implementation lifecycle: discovery, requirements definition, functional design, configuration, data migration, UAT, training, and go-live
• Understanding of core accounting fundamentals, and how they translate into system configuration and business process design
• Comfort with the disciplines that keep an implementation on track: business process mapping, scope and change management, and quality management
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, project tracking, and client reporting
• Exposure to software or ERP implementation projects, as a lead, a team member, or a closely adjacent stakeholder
• Acumatica experience is a plus
• experience with another platform such as NetSuite, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics transfers well
